Dear IMG'S
Can you tell me as an IMG living in USA/Indiana, Where can I get USCE ?
I think this is extremely hard issue, are there programs offering USCE for IMG ?
Do i need to beg the physicians by email and phone or by asking hospitals to work as a volunteer " carrying the patients " ? or working as a certified nurse assistant ?
these even don't count as USCE !!
And then can u tell us please how to do a research ? do we need to contact research departments of the universities and ask them " are u able to accept me as a research assistant ?? " ....most of them will not reply the email..some will say "sorry we r full"
I prefer to pay money to get this USCE rather than go through this .
ok where can i pay money for USCE ?!
Do you have some Secrets to get USCE ? plz cuz i got mad when i heard USCE !!
Why do they require it from IMG's ...since there is no way to get it ?
Please help me.....I'm lost , really lost..please explain to us and give us some links so we can get USCE....IF U Know sombody offer USCE plz tell me.

Hi Agrada,
As far as i know to get some USCE u have to call or send an email to the hospitals which provide observership or externships.

Hey,
If you have any relative who's working in a hospital as a doc,nurse or surg assisstant...ask them to help you out by using thr contacts .....if u don't have anybody related to Med field then go to your nearest community hospital & ask them that u'll do a volunteer work...& see what happens...one of my friends got an observership that way.

plz if you are an IMG, that is if u have graduated, then try emailing columbia univ and search others of those sort, buy the washington mannual, call the docs or go for an appointment. In competetive zones, like UK n US....you have to market yourself.....sometimes or may be more often, you wont get what you want.....but the way you are willing to spend ur bucks.....I recon call alll the hosps close by or even far away!
If you are planning to try for a place close to ur home in Indiana, then change your mind....widen up ur search.it 'll make ur task easier

I m going for an elective as an undergrad next year InshaAllah!....it's hard too but alot of calls and emails from here in asia helped me get my field of interest.
