glands hypertrophy,,inflamatotion,,,edema..... D.. CHR.. bronchitis???

its pulmonary fibrosis. it starts as alveolardamage to oxidative and toxic substances and progresses to fibosis later

but is there type 2 cell hypertrophy and hyperplasia in pulm. fibrosis?

i jus read somewhere that hypertrphy n hyperplasia of type 2 cells is present in asthma!!??

so...wats the ans?
