What are the organisms that live intracellularly?
Is there a difference between facultative and obligate IC organisms?

Intracellular organisms:
1. obligate - it means they can only live inside the cell
- a) viruses
- b) intracellular bacteria (Chlamydia, Rikettia)
2. facultative - it means they can live both intra and extracellularly

Extracellular organisms:
they live only outside of the cell

What are the Obligate IC organisms?
Chlamydia, Riketsia,.... others?

Here are some Facultative IC organisms:
Yersina
Listeria
Bruciella
Salmonella
Mycobacteria
Legionella
Francicella
(any others?)

The obligate intracellular organisms can't make ATP.
What about the facultative organisms?

well rickettsia can make some atp but chlamydia no atp at all

facultative, i think can make atp

obligate aerobes are there..

They use oxygen to generate ATP

pseudomonas. AERugnosa,

NOCARDIA

bacillus

mycobacterium tuberculosis.
