what is adult kidney derived?

pronephron

mesonephron

metanephron

what is renal pelvis derived of?

uretric bud is overgrowth of what?

  #2

Adult kidney from metanephros
renal pelvis from ureteric bud, wch is an overgrowth of the mesonephric duct.
All a derivative of the intermediate mesoderm.

  #3

well drk already said well..

one more point....

yes the adult kidney develops from the metanephros. and give rise to the glomerulus till the distal tubule...

the ureteric bud gives reise to the collecting duct, the renal pelvis and the ureter

  #4

great!
What abt the urinary bladder? trigone?

  #5

Adult kidney derives from metanephric mesoderm, this means metanenephros. Mesonophros results in mesonephric duct and from this one develops the ureteric bud and next the renal pelvis.

  #6

great guys thanks

  #7

The urinary bladder develops from urogenital sinus and the trigon of the bladder is formed by the incorporation of the mesonephric duct into the urogenital sinus.

  #8

wow! Since ur on a roll wink...anything special abt the urinary bladder epithelium?

  #9

transitional

the trigone develpos from the incorporation of the caudal mesonephric duct into the bladder wall , earlier it is mesodermal, and later becomes endodermal

  #10

For now i only remember that it is a transitional epithelium.

  #11

urinary bladder develpos from upper end of urogenital sinus.

metanephric mesoderm forms metanephric vsecle that differntiate to primitive renal tubule.

prmitive renaltubul eventually form renal glomerulus

renal capsul=bowman

proximal and distal tubul

loop of henle

  #12

Kidneys derive fron metanephric mesoderm. But Marinda these topics you are posting belongs to the embryology forum, and the embryology of the urinary system is already explaoned there.

  #13

i agree
