hi,
i got only 85 in step 1 , will i get residency with such a bad score???thinking whether to do my step 2 ck????or should i have to drop out???i m worried cause i m an img..........

85 is not a bad score. It is possible to get a good residency if your CK score is good and the rest of your credentials are good, like having USCE, US LORs, research and past working expereince. Dont feel disheartened. You can still do a lot to buff up your CV

well guys even i m an img with an average acore , so looking at this post it looked like it was for me ,with half asleep i replied thinking that it was for me,

thank u sanz , have not been to america and abt the speciality , internal medicine , paediatrics , or pyschiatry..........i was very much intrested in surgery but with this score i cant even dream abt it ....
day by day i m getting depressed thinking abt ,"how much i worked and how much i dreamed abt 90's but to land up in this 85 ,do i have to continue , cause i worked alot on step 1 , and now i m wondering , with so much of hardwork i got only 85 in step 1 , for step 2 , the questions in the exam r long i heard , will i b able to make it????i m having sleepless nights

Dont worry, may be you were just unlucky on that day and hope that luck will favour you well in the next. Besides I am a strong beleiver that your scores are not representative of how good you really are?
