hi,
i m terribly disappointed with my score in step 1 , 85/209, my question is do i have to do my step 2 ???when i see all u people getting 90's i feel like i m lost ..........

 " do i have to do my step 2?? " well, if you wanna get your ECFMG certificate, yes, of course you have to do it. Donīt feel in that way. If you pay more attention, you will realize that there are a huge number of members and guests and only a few write their scores which are sometimes 90īs. Anyway, just study and improve your application for yourself

i agree with u'll.... usmle4img.. u must realise there are alot of ppl who ahv got scores whch r in the 70's.. even thy r contuing... the game is all about keep on gng towards ur goal... yes i do agree... u wont be havng the same avgr as those in the 90s but u can definately get a good stp2 score n get the other things done well.. i am sure whn He closes one door , He opens another... U just hav to look that bit harder..

I got 77 and I am prety much happy with it . I am happy I worked for it and I earned it,I think if one compare him/her self with others there are always places for disapointment, beacause there are always people much better and more successful. so be happy for your score and even happier for them who earned better scores.

USMLE4img, why dont you wait for 7 more years, then you can retake your exam and get a 99!? im serious, really, there is not much life without getting a 99! you wont get a residency, practice medicine or get anywhere here! all you can do, is wait! good luck ! my heart goes out to you! better yet, wrap yourself ina comforter, and start doing drugs coz your so messed up, there is no way out!
