Mumps (paramyxovirus), oophoritis, blood test for specific IgM, treatment is symptomatic, orchitis.

I think it's a good idea to give a name to the topic- any kind of descriptive name- vague or when possible, specific (eg. infectious disease, CVS). That would make it easier to locate the question and also to run searches when you happen to be looking for questions on specific topics.
