Hi folks,
I took a lot of time in selecting my avatar. It then occured to me that you might be also so passionate about your avatar. I thought it will be a nice thread if everyone explains what their avatar means to them. Ofcourse I know that it is a php site and the avatar you have posted here may change once you have changed in your options. So it will be better if one says what the picture is in words so that the thread doesn't seem nonsense in the future.
My avatar is an abstract one. It seems as a "fiery whirlpool". I chose it because it is a very abstract picture. It gives different ideas to different people depending on the way they think. It is red and dynamic and hence catches the focus of attraction.

mine is a piece of the Creation of Man from the Sistine Chapel by Michelangelo. I chose it because i feel i´m entering to a period of my life where I´m realizing the most important aspect of life is your spiritual life, God, Jesus, or whatever God you have (according to your religion). To be good, to help people. Because all the other material things are only "dust" and we are here only for some years (maybe no more than 100y), after that you´ll live for ALL THE ETERNITY in the heaven/hell/purgatory/etc.

It feels nice to note that in this materialistic age, someone is trying to look inwards and discovering the spiritual part of one's existence. It seemed to me as if everyone is very superficial nowadays and the quest for purpose of one's life is nearly forgotten.

My avatar is US Coat of Arms. I have chosen it because we all are preparing for (or talking about) the US MLE. Nothing political.

Mine is one of my dogs. She makes me smile when I am having a difficult day at work. Her name is Molly and she's a toy fox terrier(ist). She doesn't talk back, doesn't ask to borrow the car or come home late. She loves me unconditionally. Although it could be because I give her food.

, you can look for a specific thing in google or any other browser. Or there are webpages of avatars (also look for them in browsers). There are a great variety.

nice thread of discussion,
mine is the view of manhattan from the riverfront near my home. it is just awesome, u can see the empire state, chrylser and all the other famous buildings in front of the East River in the city that never sleeps. Enjoy!!

She is way too spoiled and lives now with my mom back in my homecountry. I couldnt bring her with me because my husband is allergic to cats
