hmm...isn't astrocyte the 'fibroblast' of the brain? Can anyone clear this up for me plz..

, there is no COLLAGEN IN BRAIN actually,,, it would be present as a part of blood vessels.. so ASTROCYTES are the right choice..,,cuz it contains GFAP protein that fills gaps..

right... no collagen in brain normally. in the case of an abscess the fibroblasts are released from the walls of the bloodvessels to form a Capsule of Collagen around the abscess.
