Anyone has any detailed information how the scramble works. I am confused because ERAS said applicants can apply 30 programme for free in the scramble, but first aid said applicants should call the programme directly. Since are thereonly two days there, knowing details can certainly make everyone well prepare for that. Thank you.

you can apply either thru ERAS or directly - depends on how the PDs wanna see your application ...but yeah - u first got to make that phone call ...if they are interested they will ask you to fax your application or apply thru ERAS ...

Thank you for your reply. But I checked ERAS website again, I still don't know how to apply through it during scramble period. Do you think there will be another new access appearing in ERAS website at that specific day? Pleeeease let me know if you have any information. thannnks!

the day of the scramble if you don't match eras will send to 30 programs your documents but that does not guarantee they will call you. You will probably need to call the list yourself and see if you can get an interview over the phone, they will ask you to send your documents either via fax or email. I am using a company www.bestscramble.com to send my documents myself since I only had 2 interviews this year they will fax and email all my documents to all empty positions all I have to do is call the programs. My friend used this company last year and he was able to get in the scramble he was really happy with their service. He said it would of been crazy trying to fax and email all the documents himself some of his other friends were going crazy.

HI GUYS, i am new here and need a little assistance, i registered with eras but did not participate in the match ( did not register with nrmp). So what do i have to do to get the unfilled programs list from nrmp, do i have to register and pay a fee . Second i am going to be using one of those programs that assist you in sending out your apllication to various programs for the scramble, they asked me to send them a universal applicatoin which is in pdf format. Does anyone know how i can type on the adobe pdf file and then print it out, it's not allowing me to do that, only print,, any help would be appreciated, thankyou.

i think you must be registered in NRMP and should have applied to at least 1 program.
