I am an IMG, just got my scores for step-1 and CS, had done step-2 before. I know that its too late for match but according to few friend's advise I still sent my application to few programs. Post match is the best option for me right now. One thing I am a bit confused about is that what if I apply to prelim. I am interested in IM or IM/Peds. Do you think its easy to get in to prelim as compared to categorical. My husband is in the last year of a residency program and I do want to get a psoition this year as we are already pretty settled in States. Going back and coming back is going to be hard as we have small kids too. Please advise me what is the best possible way to go about it.
