To compare this to Duodenal Atresia, (because they often try to confuse these two) how would this present? -Around when after birth would you see the vomiting? -Would it be bilious or non-bilious? -Whats the treatment?

-Vomiting AT birth -BILIOUS vomiting (because the atresia is usually distal to the bile duct vs Plyoric stenosis which is non bilious vomiting because the stenosis is proximal to the bile duct) -Needs to be corrected. Also: Pyloric stenosis (Stenosis is narrowing) is NOT associated with Polyhydramnios, whereas Duodenal atresia (Complete blockage) is associated with Polyhydramnios!

in intussusception, the child usually begins feeding well and then suddenly develops GIT obstruction at around 10th day.
