hello everyone..

i have some Qs....

1)Is palpitation layman term or i have to say do u feel ur heart is racing??

2) If i want to ask abt thyroid problem .....should i tell is their any thyroid dis. in past or in ur family??...becos i have seen in kaplan book that thyroid is a medical term ..so what should i tell?

3)if i have to say abt pelvic n genital exam...

should i tell i need to do a front passage exam? is this rt?

4)is menopause layman term or i have to say when was ur last menstrual period?

ple. reply....i will appreciate it very much

1. heart racing/ pounding
2. if there's a thyroid problem: you say: im going to check a gland in your neck its called the thyroid. then you can ask about 'any thyroid probl in your fam ?'
3. "front passage exam" ??? i never heard of that.
you say "i will schedule you for a pelvic exam, is that ok with you?"
4. menopause is lay, and do ask "when was your LMP ?" for every woman, except if she's OLD >60 ask when was menopause
