which of the followings does not require prophylactic antibiotic treatment ?
a) gastrointestinal fistule
b) Mastectomy
c) Oropharyngeal surgery
d) Necrotic debridmant
e) Intestinal trauma

For the prophylactic antibiotic treatment, you'll have to categorize the wounds.

Thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, mastectomy and hernia operations (which do not include graft) are classified as CLEAN WOUNDS and do not require prophylactic treatment except special conditions. The usual prediction of infection after these surgeries is about %1.

Thus, the answer is B, Mastectomy.

dude fistula is a communication it has a high risk of infection you need atbs
