In case of a Cardiovascular or lung exam, in a woman, do we have to expose only R chest first, then cover..then uncover L chest?? Or can we untie the gown an let the whole chest exposed? Is so time consuming, to do it by parts...first the L side, then the R side..How do we do it??IN case of a man examination, how to proceed? THANKS!!!

In a female - its ok to expose the whole chest and also ok to expose the bra. Just politely inform the lady first that u will need to expose the area for heart-lung exam. after u are done u can ask her to tie it back the same for a man !
