a patient has severe right upper quadrant pain and findings of gastrointestinal bleeding. we know that 2 weeks ago he had a blunt trauma to the abdominal region.
what's the possible diagnose ?
what's the triad of this disease ?

  #2

possible liver rupture. dont know bout triad :?

  #3

Acute cholangitis?
Charcot's triad?

  #4

 That's Liver Trauma or possible duodenal rupture!

  #5

one thing is confusing me, is that if he had liver trauma or rupture then bleeding will be abdomial not gastrointestinal, but looks like liver trauma,if mortifera mistakely written GI Bleeding istead of abd bleeding
If indeed it is GI bleeding, then intestinal perforation may be possible.

acute cholangitis is usually an acending infection of the billiary tree secondary to choledocholithiasis, most commonly.isn't it

can u tell us the answer plz

I think this can be HEMOBILIA,where blood is draining via the CBD into the duodenum.
triad:
1.RUQ pain
2.Guaiac +/upper GI bleeding
3.jaundice
Causes can be trauma,PTcA or tumors...
so pls mortifera it is time to post the answer...
