GUYZ,
Just got the result passed with score of 90/219,hurray,done with usmle,GOODBYEEEEEEEEE USMLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
I have learnt so much from you guys.
Many many thanks,i will keep contributing to this forum.
I thought i failed almost when i gave my exam,but lucky enough to get this score with less then 10 days prepration.
Above all my results got updted within three weeks,its surprising!!!! but a pleasent one,oh i dont know what to say and write!!!its finally end of the journey!!!cannot belive it!!!.
Oh am happy,hope coming days will bring in happyness to u all,hope u all pass step-3 with flying colours.

I did only UW questions for 10 days thats all,i think since am working in UK it helped.
I browsed thru CCS cases of UW once as well,but practiced those 5 cases sent in by ecfmg well.
I am told step-3 kaplan books r good supplement for UW if u wanna get very good score.

Congrats Katzung!!
Were you able to do all the UW q bank Qs in ten days?? If not, how many Qs did you do from the UW? And what was your average score on the UW q bank Qs?? Did you read the explanation for all Qs?
My UW subscription time will end in 8 days and I have done only one third so far. Read the explanation of only about 100 Qs. My average score so far is 65% on the UW q bank.
I also did the NBME exam for step 3 and got 550.
My exam is Feb 5/6.
You think I will be fine? Any inputs? I am really scared.

I Did all but 300 questions in UW i think there r about 1350 in all so i did 1050 and was scoring around 70% on average after 1050 questions.
Please read the explanations in UW it is very imp,u have good nrmp score which in reality shud correspond to 90-92,but it is ur decision to take it or not.
I used to solve around 200-250 questions a day and used to read explanations as well,it is tiring but is possible!!!,given ur good score in nrmp try and finish off atleast 1000 q's on UW and see how u do.
Unless u wanna score 99 in step-3 too, i frankly think step-3 score doesnot matter.
GL am sure u will do well.

I am by no means hoping for 99. 76 is all I need. I need it only for my H1B visa. But I am scared as I have no US or even non US clinical experience and I read nothing for it. I am going for it with what I have studied for step 2ck which I took a little over a year ago. I also did the Kaplan diagnostic exam for step 3 and got 77% which I think is good. But, since I didn't read anything for the MCQ part of the exam, I still harbour some pessimistic feelings. I am doing the UW CCS cases right now. I have first aid for step 3 too. I will try to do as much UW q bank Qs as I can and read the First aid once, practice the CCS cases on the software and go for my exam which is on Feb 6/7. I have already purchased a nonrefundable plane ticket so I can't postpone it.

remember step-3 tests your confidence so be confident u will pass,besides u have very good scores on kaplan and nbme why dou worry,go ahead with confidence.

Hello Katzung,
What do you think of a score of 450 on NBME ?
I also did UW and I scored around 60% over all... Is this sufficient to pass?
Plzzz Reply.. this is getting scarier....

temporary if u r getting that percent on UW then u shud pass in the real exam.but test urself with nbme probably it is a good guide.
