I divide antimetabolites into : methotrexate, purine & pyrimidine analogs, anticancer antibotics, inhibitors of chromosomal function and misc. purine analogs-thioguanine and mercaptopurine, allopurinol increase mercaptopurine toxicity. antibiotics -dactinomycin, doxyrubicin, daunrubincin are cardiotoxic intercalating DNA. Of course lung, toxic bleomycin fragments DNA. inhibitors of chromosome function are the "vins", etoposide as you state inhibits topoisomerase Paclitaxol enhances microtubule formation.. mitotane is used in adrenocortical cancer.

u gotta come up ways to remember them..

I remember Paclitraxel ( the p stands for polymerization so it keeps it stable ) . know vincristine and vinblastine is opposite and blastine + paclirael both supress bone marrow.

bl02mycin oxygen radical with Fe and stuff same goes for dOxOrubicin ( 02- radical )
eTOPOside - TOPOisomerase II

Azathioprine ( the post top said HGPRT but i think it might be PRPP amidotransferase just check to confirm ) --> 6MP --> uracil --> xanthine oxidase --> uric acid ..
xanthine oxidase inhibit via allopurional

do u guys know chemoman ? were u guys thought about him ? if not i can draw him tomorrow and show u guys, it makes it easier to remember the toxicities and antidotes..
