hi,i am 2002 grad,i had done 1.5 yrs of post grad in my home country but due to personal reasons i quit as i had to come to U.S.do you think i will be considered as old grad.i hope i can make it for this yrs match ie 2007.just started with prep,plan to take step-1 in may,c.s in june andc.k in oct and step-3 in jan may be.is it doable?need your advice. old grads out there how has it been for you guys,do you think opportunities are less for us,that too if we need visa.does our exp in home country count at all?

i m a 2002 grad too.u r not a old grad , i think its >5 yr which makes it old grad

It should not matter when you graduated or how old you are. I know old grads (age and yr of grad) who have been accepted. it depends on the specialty you have in mind. How old are you, Brown?. you might be close to my age.

does clinical exp in home country count?i was doing md gen medicine.i want to join in the same feild.by 2008 will i be an old grad?
