is it one CD with 7 blocks or two CDs with 7 bolcks each...I saw some one wrote 70/74 on kaplan CD??????

they have two tests , one is the cd that all have, the other is the one they give online, ie who take q review and i think this is the same as the one they give at the centre kaplan centre

what correlation does it have with real exam questions and scores?are they reflective of the one on Boards

welll i took the cd, one and there the ques a lot from the ones behind the kap[lan books and not q bank... this i realized when my friend told me

the online one i took, and it has all brand new ques, but that one has hell lot of pharmacology, i am not sure that much pharmac comes on exam or not...but the online one is good and wortyh doing

these re the two correlations people told

1. 55-65.. u will get 75-80

65-75 u will gwt 80 to 90

above 75 means above 90

but i dont think its true, coz my friend got 68 and got 90

doesnt cost anything, if u have taken q review u get it free

i dont if its the same one u get when u do a course at kaplan, and can take their simulated exam at the centre

Well to add to the confusion...

...my friend said he scored around 72-74, two days before the exam as he was trying to make up his mind wether to postpone his Step 1...

He decided to go ahead anyways and returned with a whopping 97 on the actual exam! grin

Oh, I wish...... rolling eyes

hey guys.Its so strange.Even a complete average joe like me is scoring like 72 on kaplan simulated.I thinx it is totally not correlated to the actual scores as I know I am not a 90 candidate right now. raised eyebrow

is it safe to assume then that that Kaplan simulated is more difficult than QBank? cause with qbank, i thought you had to score around 75-80 to expect to pass step 1...anyone know?

also - what is the correlation between the nbme score and the usmle? and for anyoen who has taken both the nbme exams and the usmle - have you seen some of the nbme questions on your step 1?
