I took my test last tuesday 12 on PA .. Use UW and w'll more than fine ..! prepar yourself to deal with nasty SP, and answer the q ..,the time is note a big issue if you focused on the main probleme .. I had 12 cases , and i don't really know which one and how many were experimental ... !! i had one problem that's bothers me a lot .., i did many scratchess on my notes ...!! i was so confuse how to organize my notes .... Is anyone knows about this scratching thing ..? is 't bad ..?? Thanks .. and good luck to you all .

by scrathches u mean scribbling and crossing off with your pen right ? I did so on two of my patient notes - pretty bad crossing. That feeling of unsurety is always there after every USMLE step :-)

Thanks digitaloc ..!! Yes ..,sorry i meant scribbing off ..!! But Do u know if it's like prohibeted ..or something ..? i' am having a nightmares about this ..!! And did u pass..??

yes I did pass ! its not prohibited or anything like that - we are allowed to be nervous

Hi digidoc, sanam here again..... Tell me something.. In a case where, say SP comes with any CNS/CVS/DmHtn-F/Up complaint ...& has all the +es.. DM,HTN,CAD hx'ies, How shd I manage the eloborate cns & cvs history, SODA advise & Heent,Cns,cvs,rs,examinations, in 15 minutes!!! & abt the advise, is it ok if i say a.....let me know where i err & how to correct it, and where to shorten the blah blah... "Mr.Jones,....i want to tell u abt a few lifestyle changes U need to make at this point..----Monitor ur bp/sugar regularly, & don't miss u'r drug doses, eat healthy (low carb/low fat diet/low salt diet) & take extra care of ur feet, wear soft footwear & make sure u dont get hurt.As far as smoking and alcohol r concerned, u need to seriously think abt quitting, it's never too late to quit, espy if u r a dm'tic/htn'sive.. u need to be aware of their direct illeffects on the heart, brain & lungs..on long term basis...I know it can be very tough to quit, but i cud introduce u to our peer support groups here, for good physical and emotional encouragement....let me know if u r interested...& feel free to ask me any of ur concerns, my contact numbers r with my nurse...Is there anything u want to ask me....Shall i see u then...good seeing u mr.jones..... let me know digi_doc
