I am a first year med student, but this summer I want to get casually started studying for USMLE Step I so by the time December of next year rolls around, I'm ready to go full swing and don't feel overwhelmed - I'd also like a really high score, of course. I've been through this site and have tried to see what the consensus was, but am a bit confused, so if you can explain/tell me if I'm missing anything crucial, I'd appreciate it a lot. 1. FIRST AID - got it 2. Kaplan notes - is this the kaplan books they feature on their bookstore? 3. Qbook 4. Qbank 5. Goljan - is this the book Rapid Review for USMLE I by Goljan? 6. High yield for most anatomy subjects 7. BRS for Physiology and Pathology where can i purchase goljan's materials/lecture materials? is it a book purchasable from bn.com or www.amazon.com (ie rapid review for usmle i by goljan?) or is it something else? oh, and I forgot... lots of people talked about BSS and NBME questions of some sort. Where do I get/purchase these? Are they available in hard copy/CD or, like kaplan, only available for a few months at a time?
