Narcolepsy is a disorder of which stage of sleep ?

a. Stage 2

c. Delta sleep

yes REM sleep is right. Typically rem sleep begins 90 minutes after you fall asleep. However in narcolepsy it just takes about 10 minutes. So if you see one of your classmates nodding off to sleep and you could discern rapid eye movements its narcolepsy. Typically they are awoken when they cough or sneeze and fall down.
Narcoleptic triad
1. Excessive daytime somnolence
2. Cataplexy(pathognomonic)(Sudden loss of muscular control)
3. Hypnagogic hallucinations (while falling asleep)
4. Sleep paralysis
