1) Which artery supplies the pacemaker of the heart?

2) Which artery when blocked in an acute MI, will give rise to the need for an artificial pacemaker?

sa node is supplied 50 %by the rca and 50% by the lca. this is what q bank says

though anat book says that rca mainly supplies the sa node

ok Q 3) Why is there "SUB"endocardial ischemia if the coronaries are on the surface?
(i hv a memory lapse on this process confused )

b/c branches supply different layers of the endocardium...

hahaha because branches are n the syrface that is the reason.all the muscle till subendiocardium gets good suply. haha
