Just a general info Q. Exercise has no effect on sleep per se. Rather it's gotta do wth increased cerebral temperatures.

"This, experiments have shown by keeping the exercising person cool, which prevents the sleep effect, while on the other hand, it can be produced simply by sitting in a bathtub of warm water. All of this has nothing to do with muscle recovery."
so the answer is exercise anyway.

Btw, does alcohol increase or Decrease REM?
Melatonin reduces sleep latency......it's better known for sleepiness.

smiling face good job u both!
1) 90 minutes on an average in a young adult.....increases in depression and decreases with alcohol intake.
2) Stage 3 and 4 or Delta sleep......somnabulism occurs
3) REM brain waves are similar to beta waves(while awake)...both are Low voltage and fast.
4) Stage 2..........thts the stage of the sleep cycle we mostly get out of(and spend the most time in).
5) REM...........Its said we all dream every night but we just dont rmber them. If one can rmber then its most likely they were disturbed out of their REM sleep.
