ya
Net fluid flux = Kf xfilteration pressure. filt pressure = art + venous/2

so ans = 10x 50+10/2 = 10x 30 = 300

so e

Actually the answer is B) 150 , but they are not using the information about venular or arteriolar hydr. press. only Starling equation. but I think is a good example to use the concepts of capillary filtration.

Starling Eq:

Fluid movement= K [ (Pc-Pif) - (Oc-Oif)] (from BRS, simple formula)

= 10[(35-(-5)) - (30-5)]= 10 x 15=150

Ref. Kaplan Phys Qbank.

Net fluid flux = Kf x [ ( Pc - Pi ) - rc ( pc - pi ) ]

where:
K
f
is the filtration coefficient
rc is the reflection coefficient

i am sorry i was wrong

no need to be sorry msyamp, actually i got nuts with the venular and arteriolar hydrostatic pressure information, at least you know how to deal with that information, I still think why would they put that information if we wont use it? these kind of things pisses me off disapproval thanks pal.
