LAC operon is set of coordinated controlled genes adjacent to one another in a genome.
3 types of gene
1. lac Z gene encodes beta-galatosidase,,which splits LACTOSE into glucose+glactose.
2.lac Y gene encodes lactose permease,,which pumps LACTOSE into cell.
3.lac A gene encode thiogalactosidase transacetylase-
