my best friend had just one interview at maimo,ny ..the interview as such went off well ,her credentials are 82/82/pass 2004 grad no usce or papers need h1,i personally feel the only thing that got me this far is my year of graduation (2004 ) and thats what i keep telling her that she should match at maimo what are her chances ,should she get that fax machine for the scarmble ?? honest opinion needed please

tell ur friend to look out for deals on faxes. i will inform her if i come across any. ask her to return the favor
technically she cud match. realistically with her scores and visa status and a competitive prog like maim - i dont think so.

I think if they called her for interview, its a fair game after that. By the way she has an advantage as Mamon, NY does favour new graduates. I was told about this during my interview by the interviewer himself !! Scores, they told me straight that although my scores were impressive, they get impressive score candidates every now and then. They had reservations because they think I have too much experience.

i agree reg maimo with braunwald,coz my friends telll me that maimo is a sort of programme which wud like to train the fresh minds,hey no offence to oldies like me,  just the the way programme wants their graduates to be!!.
And to be honest getting good scores( i mean 99) with virtually no clinical experience in step-2 and 3 is more difficult than for someone with exp.
