I don't understand, nobody replies on such an important topic! I am in the middle of the same struggle. Got the certificate, but it means nothing w/out clin.experience. My bank did not transfer money to fmg america bec. bank didnot consider the recipient was safe/trustful enough.. I arranged an observership for 2wk, but it is not a hands-on experience... waiting for replies...anybody to have experience with these organizations........?

You don't need fmg america to do externship in the States. There are couple of hospitals that offer externship either for free. You may need to cover the malpractice insurance at some. There is good list at one of the First Aids. I suggest you either call or visit some hospitals. State or county (public) hospitals are more likely to accept externs. Try large metropolitan hospitals.

i have compiled a small list at Tips4Match.blogspot.com of hospitals that have given observerships in the past...i would not pay FMGamerica or others to get an observership...Persistent trials via emails / phone calls to hospital departments will work or use your resident contacts to have one arranged..
