i am really depressed
i passed all steps including csa
can u plz tell me more abt post match scramble,how did ur friends get in thru scrambling.do v have to appear 4 interview in person.
thx 4 ur time.

OK this is what my friends have told me for scramble.If you don't match then make sure you have access to a phone,internet/e-mail, fax and if possible a friend or 2. No personal interviews....they usually interview over the phone.You have to prepare your CV as well and copies of any extra documents. On the big day.....you start calling programs from 12pm and let them know you wanna join there.The list of unfilled positions is released before that so you know which programs to contact. If they like you over the phone they will send you letter of intent which u must sign and fax it back to them.They may request to see other documents for which u must be ready to fax them.
Don't be depressed.....last year my friend applied very late and just 1 interview....eventually she didn't match.She scrambled into a Family Medicine program....however suddenly a few days after that a big time university program offered her a place in a competitive program(WHICH SHE HAD APPLIED TO BUT WAS NEVER INTERVIEWED ).She then took that offer. Even the others who scrambled joined good university programs as well!
