Dengue is transmitted to human being through the bites of infective female aedes egyptii mosquitoes. Mosquitoes acquire the virus while feeding on an infected individual. Once infected the mosquito transmit the virus throughout it's life, it transmit it to next generation through transovarian transmission

Don't worry doc smiling face as I know, it would be good for us only to remember the names like Salmonella Enteritidis, Rickettsia, Ehrlichia, Coxiella and Bartonella...To be honest with you I memorised only these names. :wink:
