Hi all..can someone plzzzz list genetic disorders with their chromosome localization...few to name such as
hungtington,s disease...ch 4
cftr(cystic fibrosis)...ch 7
wilms tumor.....ch 11
plz try to list them is sequence....this will be of great help as there a lot of question just asking about chromosome localization....Thanks

well msyamp, neurofibromatosis 2 is on chr 22, whereas nf1 is on chr 17

I was under the impression that p53 and BRCA1 were anti -oncogenes

p 53 is tumor suppressor gene.
brca too is dna repair gene
anti oncogenes if it means the above you are right

well this is very funny msyamp, i wrote this post from a local computer, where i told u that nf2 is on chr 22, and the post came in name of swarajit
