what will you do when you feel helpless with lack of power to continue what you have started,lack of motivation to push you foreward ,loneliness that sometimes kill your soul or what makes it worse is feeling that God is not supporting you anymore which is devastating ...even prayers don't work anymore.

Keep on going! Stay cool. Take a brake, go somewhere, were you will not think about your task. Try to get distracted somehow. And keep praying. He is there... He knows...Keep Hope, hard work and perceverence. And tooooons of patience. I know what it feels like, you are not alone.

hey i am feeling the same way now and i have felt it before too. But whats different today is i am only 15 days away from my exam. Now there is nomore time to relax or take a break but i took it anyway. I dint study the whole day and at the end of it all i dint enjoy the day either!
Funny thing is i have restared my studies only about 5 days ago, (i was on a 15 days break to attend something that was just unavoidable.) Many of you would judge me as an unambitious nonserious kind of a person going for USMLE. Even i doubt myself sometimes. But then i think what if 5 yrs from now i look back will i regret not taking USMLE"S ? and the answer is always YES. I want to be there but the path is so much more difficult as it was 5 yrs back when i was just a girl with no responsibilties. Many times i think even if i passed this exam n all will i be able to work? Me a person who has never worked never supported myself and have always dependent on someone else to take care of me. I cant help but wonder will i be able to "be" the person, i have always dreamt to be? The answer is, i dont know But i will never know Unless i try Today and NOW! And thats what motivates me, i want to know. Now i will start revising pathology cuz i have finished physio last night.
GOodluck to all of you out there. Keep studying, its not a promise that you will get all you want in life, But its the hope that MAybe ...And even though all odds are against it now, if there's a tad of hope I Will Try!

thanks guys for support.but i also did that .it did not work for me because i'm back to the same point and situation .it's a fact that i have to pass through this difficult time whether i accept it or not .there will be an end but the question is WHEN????

dont STRESS out buddy....just work out on one thing (one subject e.g patho)then switch to others..

thank you all for your kind words.for DrPak i tried watching movies too ,inspirational ones ,but it's effect was for a while .at the end you come to the same point you stopped at.sometimes few steps backward.so i believe that for a glorious resurrection there is a cross to bear first to be worthy for that glory.

Yes guys ,Its happening to many of us but we have to hold on and hang in there.Trust God and depend on Him.This thing is doable,others have done it and SO CAN WE so CHIN UP GUYS......we are all doctors and no one can take that from us.Be very prayerful and really don't beat yourself on the head too hard.This exam is all about confidence and composure under intense pressure so don't let it get the better of you.
I am praying now DEAR God please help me and all my online friends as we prepare for this exam.Give us strength and boldness and a clear mind to face this major challenge and help us to know and remember that NOTHING is impossible with you.In Jesus' name

Thanks for all your inspiring words. Thanks Oluwaseun for the prayer. I know everyone needs that.
Infinity, you're not alone with all those emotions. I think all of us are feeling that way sometime during our review for USMLE. Honestly, I'm sad because I'm too slow in grasping what i'm reviewing but I know that I will soon get that time when i can easily grasp everything i read (but i hope it will be sooner).
Pray! Pray! Pray! After I failed my first try for Step 1, I stopped praying because I thought it's no used after all. But then I realized that there is no one I can turn to for the best guidance except for God. I end up crying and pleading for forgiveness. I know that God wants me to be stronger and be more determined in achieving my dream.
With all those feelings and negative thoughts... the more you need to continue on praying harder. Voice it our to Him and He is listening to all our prayers. Have faith and be positive.
