hi am new 2 the forum,presently studying 4 stp1...i have a ques..rt now am on h4.during the interview process if i get residency on j visa,n somewhere along the line my husband's green card comes,is it possible 4 me to get my gc or will i have 2 continue with my j1 visa.......PLS HELP

Once you are on a J visa, there is no changing of status. Sorry, immigration rules.

but isn't it possible that you can go back to your country for 2 years- obligatory-, then go back to US having a new job in a hospital, which could give you H1B?
