* Go and meet physicians and request them for an observership/shadowing experience.
* If u r still a medical student and intending to spend all dat moolah to come to US and do an elective then that would be da best thing. One of my friends is doing exactly that. A lot of hospitals offer that kind of electives for Foreign Medical Students (not graduates).
* Contact someone who may have done an observership.
