a surgeon nicks the right margin of the hepatodeudonal ligament, what str will be most likely damged? a. Right hepatic art b. bile duct c. portal vein well we know portal vein lies posterior, so its ruled out, well is the hepatic artery not on the right and bile duct on the left???

portal vein most right and posterior. so it damages. hepatic artery is left and hepatic duct is right and anterior

it will be bile duct. remember the protal triad portal vein lies posterior hepatic artery left and anterior bile duct right and anterior as described in HY Gross anatomy.
