A newborn baby is observed to be cyanotic immediately after birth. Diagnostic studies, includign an ultrasound reveal that the baby has persistent truncus arteriosus. Which of the following additional defects is this baby most likely to have?

its B. by the way ASD is compulsory in transposition of great arteries and not truncus arteriosus, geroo!! even i had put c before skyhigh has said no. i took it as TGA too

can it be D? the reason i am thinking this is because the baby is cynotic immidiatly after birth and i thought most cynotic babies are right to left shunt. so if the baby has truncus arteriosus the baby could have tetralogy of falot??

its defenitely b,because persistant truncus arteriosis results from failure of the ap valve to develop;it is that very same valve that goes down and closes the iv foramen(forming the membranous inetvetricular septum).
