i think no prematch position remain available at this time. my last two programs where i interviewed on dec 21st and 27th had allready filled all available prematch positions (PD inform candidates who request prematch) I hope this is wrong or some candidate who have an offer will rejected. if not, hope match will works for me. I have another 5 interviews.

i was told at one program that is known to give out premathces that they will decide in january end after finishing all interviews to select whom to offer prematch....
so dont despair,,,,,,

I got prematch offer yesterday...so its not all done with. It came through email....and I have 14 more interviews to finish, and I am only looking for prematch from 2 of them, if they give me then Ill be done..... so there are still prematches out there, if they want you...

How long after the interview it takes for the programs to offer a prematch? I doubt very seriously if it happens during the interview.

some offer prematch during interview also.they r either strt fwd n say u r an excellent candidate i am willing to offer u a out of match position or hint it .some mite take 14-15 days to write u an email or phone call offering prematch.

that's right...it varies each time...no set time pattern for offering prematch.
guys is it true that programs in the south don't offer prematch?i'm interviewing mostly in the south.

interviews in the south definitely offer prematches, and yeah some offer during interview or call you in separately after the interviews are over other wait a while.
the forum is kinda slow and the interview offers/rejections because of the holiday season I guess!!!!

problem is that Baylor offered me an interview late january and I don't want to make a decison until I interview there, but that means rejecting the prematches.
