step 2 in 2002, 76 first time (did not use anything just fresh from med school outside US)
prepare 1 and a half month for step 3, used Crush step 3 and USMLE world 50% did all question
step 3 in march 2006 75 fail first time
then prepare 2 weeks: reviewed notes from first time and did all Cases in usmlesteps123
step 3 in june 2006 88 second time (unbelievably pass )

Actual exam score 190/77.
exam dates 11th and 12 th Dec 2006
score reported on 10 th Jan 2007,and recieved in mail in 6 days.
Gave step 2 CK in Aug 2006 so revised the step 2 notes and crush one time and did UW MCQ's and CCS twice.
UW score 51%
NBME 510 2weeks before exam.
did not do kaplan Qbank and Qbook.
USMLE CD was average score dont remember exactly.
messed up about 3 CCS cases so was worried.
Not a great score ,but needed to pass it only for visa, so am happy with it.
Finished with all my USMLE's .Hoping to start residency this year thru match.

Passed step 3 with 80/196.
my total preparation time 2.5 months. with 4-7 hrs a day.
sources kaplan step 3 notes and video once. revise kaplan step 2 notes and crush the boards once.
UW :once in tutor mode with 55%
Q book: once 63%
Usmle CD- 27, 34,34 (not remember exactly)
NBME:330 5 days before exam

Passed step 3 with 80/197
exam dates 28th and 29 th Dec 2006
score reported on 24th Jan 2007,and recieved in mail on 29th Jan
my total preparation time 3 months. with 4-5 hrs a day. Passed Step 2 in May 2007.
Sources : CMDT and step 2 notes,discussion with friends and study partners.
during last 2 weeks crush the boards STEP 3...TWICE ,FIRST AID STEP 2...just one superficial reading.
UW :once in tutor mode with 55% first reading,after doing incorrect qs-65%
Usmle CD- donot remember
NBME:380 on 26 Nov,then postponed exam for 3 weeks,and read weak topics once again
did NMS q bank with friends,donot know the score.
Repeat NBME :430 5 days before exam .

Prep time :1-2 months on/off, gave step 2 in Aug 06 with 99/246
UW :62% in timed,mixed mode

studied for 3 weeks with work.. source UW mcqs ( 55%) + few CCS cases only
had given step 2 in 2004
passed step 3 with score of 80
gave exam on 1st feb, score reported on 21st feb, score rcvd at USA address on 25th Feb
only did mcqs from UW.. my exam went horrible.. was not sure if will pass at all
Cant give any advice as I was myself not sure of passing the exam... must have passed bcos of my parent's and family's prayers.

CCS UW + USMLE STEPS123 - Didn't put much effort, i guess thats why score went down.Messed up 2- 3 cases, 1 patient didn't improve.

Reported on: March 21st. Received on: March 24th.
Score: 96/232
NBME score (taken on Feb 23rd): 560
UW Completed in randomized blocks of 48 once and repeated the incorrect questions. scored 60% first time.
UW CCS: practiced 60 cases on the USMLE CCS software
Studied off and on for 2 months from kaplan step 2 notes only.
My step 1 and 2 scores were 99/244 (December 2005) and 99/260 (May 2006), respectively.

I messed up with my first 2 cases.
If I had more time I would review all the question and answers on UW and read strong medicine. Anyways, the score wasn't important for me, I just wanted to get rid of it.
