Hi all, I've been a long time (silent) visitor to this great forum. Step1 has been like a thorn in my side........ This is my exam experience today: Anatomy: Very few, NO embryology, upper limb Q's, V few neuro. Behavioral: Dr-pt relations (approx 20), biostat (30) - p value, studies, interpret graphs etc.., NO calcs Biochemistry: molec biol - DNA, transcription/translation (several Q's) Microbiology: straight Q's, immuno - deficiencies, IL', T cells, B cells Pathology/Pathophysiology: all UP/DOWN arrow Q's, few pics only, hematology (von willebrands) Pharmacology: ANS fully tested, drugs of abuse (LSD, PCP, amphet), no calcs? Physiology: endocrine - adrenal, pituit adenomas, respir - UP/DOWN arrow Q's, renal - acid-base easy ones Overall my test was dominated, (surprisingly) by 1) molecular biology, 2) behavioral (biostat + ethics) 3) immunology 4) and pathology. 5) basic science at cellular level My advice for exam takers, manage your time well during the exam. If u do not get to 25Q's in 25 mins in each block u WILL struggle at the end. I don't know how I did. I gave my all, have my fingers crossed now, and hope it was enough. That was my 2 cents....... Will post again when I get my result. Good luck to everyone else. Ann
