IV Q bank is NOT for USMLE, its for DO's (Doctors of Osteopathy). Q BANK is for USMLE.

The above poster is incorrect! IV Qbank is NOT only for osteopathic students. In fact, it wasn't created with osteopathic students in mind. It's just another question bank, which clnical vignettes, offered by Kaplan for students preparing for the USMLE Step 1. Kaplan offers a different Qbank, one specifically geared for the COMLEX-I (the exam osteopathic students have to take). Unfortunately, the quality of questions on the COMLEX Qbank sucks. Hence, most osteopathic students register for the USMLE Qbank (and some even for the IV Qbank by getting the Qreview package). DOCTORSAIB

Hi again, actually I called KAPLAN support, and asked especially about IV Q Bank, and they told me that its for DO's. I'm not making this out by my self, if you have any doubt, you can ask them KAPLAN.

Either you misunderstood or the Kaplan support guy/girl was misinformed. I've read hundreds upon hundreds of boards reviews, strategies, study timelines, and I have NEVER heard of IV Qbank being geared for osteopathic students. It's just simply not true. Take my word, I'm an osteopathic medical student at PCOM. Still having doubts? Check it out for yourself. Take care! http://www.kaptest.com/repository/templates/Artic...
