I'm posting this topic because there's a mistake I made and I dont want other people to make the same thing I did... I studied physiology from BRS throughly (I really liked it is a nice book to read).. But at the time I went to Qbook to test myself I got 30% of right answers.. I felt really bad because all the questions regarding graphs and calculations were difficult to get right just by studying this book.. My weakest background is physiology and that's probably one of the other reasons I made so poor... Well, then I got my hands into kaplan's book and videos.. Let me tell you one thing Dr. Dunn who is the faculty who gives you the lectures is amazing.. He is slow, darn slow! but he does a great job! watching his videos and reading his lectures really made a difference specially in respiratory, circulatory and cardio where basic mechanics play an important role in understanding this material.. So now Im filling the gaps that BRS left in.. Probably this wont be an issue for many people, but as I said I HAVE A POOR BACKGROUND in physio.. If you are in my same team (poor backgound) try doing those two things Ive said before try reading kaplan and watch the videos and you wont regret it.. BRS is a good book Royalgeorge posted that its neuro part is all that you need to know for neuro physiology... and has nice mcqs

Praying, one KEY thing!!! The qbook (as well as the qbank) is written as a supplement to Kaplan books. I sincerely believe that if you know BRS well enough, you will be ready for the steps. Personally, I have used Kaplan because I did use BRS during medical school...but a lot of US students use BRS and still do pretty well. So take it for what that's worth..
