i too agree with cyra, please dont post nbme questions without writing they re nbme questions, because then it will be false assessment of our scores

well thats so bad, we re still going to take nbme, and we have done the questions, unknowingly, i never open the questions which says nbme q,
this is so mean on people s part, to not write its nbme, q,....this is like we will never we know hwere we stand, till we take the exam .......

National Board of medical examners Questions are questions from exam that is conducted and witten by paying 45$ to evaluate one's own level.
PLEASE DO NOT POST THE QUESTIONS IF YOU DO THE EXAM.

hi guys,
I took nbme form 1, I got 470, can I knw what is equivalent score in usmle, I am taking exam on jan 25 , is there is any chance to improve my score...ur suggestions r appreciated,

NBME score has 500 as mean and SD of 100
USMLE score has 215 as mean and SD of 20
your NBME score of 470 would correlate to USMLE score between 195 and 215

well i took nbme today and realized, quite a few questions were already posted here, i saw questions that believe had posted were the pictures from nbme exam, well i guess this is unfair .... as i still dont know where i stand...
its a request, please dont post nbme questions without the heading....

i took nbme 1 and scored 520, and I was left with a feeling that a lot of the questions were non-vignette based and short as well. anyone who has taken the Step 1 please comment if they found the nbme questions easier than the exam and not entirely reflective of the Step 1
how good an indicator is nbme for step 1 overall??

Hey Guys I just took 79/193 in step1. This is the first time that I take the exams.
And I wonder. When a program says that the cut-off is let's say 85 what this program mean? The summary of step1 and step2? At least 1 of them?
And which is the most important step1 or step2?
I am interested in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics

who has took th nbme qbank? well assement however... whats better kaplan or nbme? they charge $45 but how many questions do u get? and why they rport the scores whit 3 numbers? that repor means the number of good questions u get?

they have 200 MCQs divided 4 sections and cost 45$ for step1.
