corneal reflex has two definition 1. A contraction of the both eyelids when the cornea in one eye is lightly touched. The afferent path is contained within ophtalmic division of the ipsilateral ophtalmic nerve (V1), the efferent limb is by both, right and left, facial nerve VII. Syn: lid reflex. 2. Reflection of light from the surface of the cornea.

What I know is a Keratoscope is used for measuring reflected light from the surface of your cornea. It helps in Checking the shape of Cornea..... Hence It will help in daignosis and finding the degree of astigmatism..... Please correct me if I am Wrong

for strabismus a light is thrown into both eyes and the position of the corneal reflex is compared in both eyes. if there is strabismus the position of reflex will be different in both eyes. I hope u undrestand what i mean.
