hi malinda ,thankx ,
im done with it , HOH , but i want to go through the whole thing one more time b4 i hit the bed tonight ............ My motivation today was that my son cried alot when my husband droped him at his day care ,we both were upset .....i cried , this is tough, some of u might be thinkin wats wrong with me , well its not easy ,so now ill go pick him up my self .

ask me about that.I do that every day.And now I am at a point where me and my husband go to pick him up and he will run towards my husband and wont even look at me for one time.And I am standing there looking at him with his father and thinking"HELLO!I GAVE BIRTH TO YOU MISTER".
all of us are trying and struggling.But it is a fact aisha,when we will be competing for residency,we will be competing with all kind of people,and no one will care if we took care of out kids or not..so u have made a good decision to send him to day care..now use this time and get over with step 1..I have 9 days to go and I am thinking about the time when I will be at home with my kid after such a long time....IF HE RECOGNISED ME AS HIS MOTHER

It is natural what you feel when you leave your child in day care.Though I do not have the experianse I can imagine what you are feeling.Think that you are studing for your son's future too.But do not forget to spend quality time with your baby when he is home.Make him lough and kiss him alot.This will take the guilt away.

thank u guys ............... well im feeling much better today , and ur right malinda , when ever i feel bad i do think of it as workin for my son's future ........ its amazin na how ur children r ur biggest weakness and they become ur biggest strength as well.
so im doin ok , 1:30pm and im done with one readin of cvs and now ill listen to the lectures and do additions to my notes , although i was not able to give hematology another read yesterday hope to do this on the wkend......... i hope this hard work pays us back

hi every one , i would have been so happy if i would have finished the stuff i was suppose to finish by today ............ well i could not as me and my son we both r sick , i was doin so good and then this sudden break , i have lost 3 days now and im hopin that ill be able to catch up in the next wk ............ i have to finish Resp , GIT , and hepato- biliary sys , and, renal, yes that was suppose to be tomorrow but i think ill have to keep one more wk for path , bcoz i have to do the FA path as well , as reet said its a good idea to keep doin the FA with each respective subject ...........
i hope i will be able to cover every thing for the july exam ........ when should i register for the july-august-sept slot.

hi, well i was able to finish the remainin respiration chapter , GIT and almost all of the hepato-billiary so im not so backed up ......... i have real next that will be tomorrow.
still not feelin so good , but im tryin my best .

i was not able to finish alot today as i thought renal is not much but i was wrong it took me a while to get through some concepts ......... im tellin u guys goljan is great , ill be doin gyn tomorrow and some endo ....... i want to finish pathology and then start with pharma as soon as possible so that i can start on Qs too .
still dealin with the flu too  , although the good nes is that my son is gettin used to the day care thing , althought i still feel gulity for makin him go there at such a small age .
i hope all this pays of good

finished renal n gyn yesterday ........ today ill be doin muskulosk , skin n may be CNS , for tomorrow im leavin the endo and the remainin CNS ...... so tomorrow ill be all finished with pathology ....... this sat/sun ill try to do FA path . coz from reet's and malida's journals i got the idea that its much much better to start doin FA from the day one and not to leave it for the last month .
monday ill start pharmacology .......... wish me luck

hi aisha i want to ask you which goljan book you are reading ,b/c i am reading stars review by goljan around 350 pages.i don't know is this the one mostly people are reading but i found it very good.

hi zzzz im usin the 500 pages notes which i got when i bought a cd from some one sellin the goljan lectures , it had these notes on pdf files .......... these notes are a lil more elaborate and have added information coverin both step 1 and 2 .
i have the rapid review as well , but im not usin it coz i wanted to stick to the detailed notes .other then that i think the rapid review is excellent and if u have that dont waist time on lookin for the other thing.
well as far as my todays target is i was not able to finish it , as i was goin to start listen to golajns lectures got a call from my son's daycare center that he has a temp of 102 and i have to go n get him ......... well after that i could not touch my book or else .... its now 10 pm im tired and he is finaly sleepin ......... i dont think i do any more right now , ill try to finish up things tomorrow but im doubtful as my son wount be goin to his day care ........... any way im glad he is ok now , never mind this was just another day .

hi aisha iknow all these problems come into when you are studying with a young family God plz give us strength to deal with.thanks for your reply i ordered 500 pages but i did'nt recieve it yet i'll see how they are & if ican do them.i have a young kids too three 6,3,& 2 year old......we are in the same boat....

hello every one , survived the wkend , it was not as bad ....... usually its impossible for me to even look at my books but this time i was actually able to do some thing , it was like i planned but it was an improvement , well i was suppose to finish path , officialy im finished but i still have to listen to goljan's musculosk/shin/CNS lecures..... good news im finised readin the whole thing
today im startin pharamacology , and ill keep doin path night , bcoz i feel i have to do the whole thing couple of times again.
so here i do , for today, kaplan pharma section one with dvd lectures

hi aisha is this your first reading or you have already gone through all once.i am giving sec. read to most of my sub. but still has to read anatomy,beh.sci. for the first time & my exam is by the end of may i don't know how i'll cover everything.

zzzz for most of the subject it was my first read bcoz i had changed my source / books for almost all the subjects , but im tryin to keep goin through stuff fast ,it helps me integrate thing better, i know my weak areas so im tryin to give more time to those thing , or to some thing that might be new to me
well ppl i have started with pharmacology ....... did section 1 today , i know thats not much but im doin path left over lectures and FA as well
tomorrow ANS section 2 , this is a weak area for me , im just hopin that 8 hrs will be enough for it .

could not update my jornal yesterday as i was stuck with CNS pharma , but i managed to finish it this mornin and was also able to finish antimicrobials ( todays target ) ........ although im a lil concerne as im not able to remember any thing as this is my first read from kaplan notes , so im tryin go through the notes and the lectures as fast as possible and im guessin that ill have to spend a full 2 wk time period to memorize every thing .
for this wk end ill try to finish remain pharma that will be the last 3 sections , im not sure wat ill be doin on monday
