What are the criteria for programs to rank the candidates? Im nervous because I only had a few interviews that went wel and my USMLE scores are low for IM (step 1 79 and step 2 ck 81 2nd attempt)..
It doesnt matter if you had a great interview if yoru scores are low, you wont be ranked highly in that program? Any thoughts?

r753, Im no expert on this, as I am applying to residency just like everyone else here, but I would think that if they called you for the interview, now you stand the same chance as everyone else who interviewed there. Why would they call you if they wouldent take you with those scores?. Im sure that if you do ok. on your inteviews youll be fine.

Every program is going to rank applications differently. Your interview and how well you fit are going to be a large part of it!
