Why does vaccination provide long-lasting protection against a disease, whereas gamma globulins provide only short-term protection?

Passive immunisation already prepared antibodies are given to the patient in order to act quickly, and they are proteins so they are degradated after some time Active immunisation (vaccination) it means that vaccine induces our immune system to make our own antibodies, and because attenuated bacteria (from vaccine) are always present in our body, they perform a permanent stimulation of antibody production

in active immunization, the b cells differentiate to form plasma cells, and the plasma cells re different fronm the b cells, as they have undergone isotype switching, and hence have now formed, IgA. IgG, Ige... and these have higher affinity for the antigen, though low avidity, the higher affinity also comes from somatic hypermutation
