Hi shyamala, I would ask you to see exam threads, you will have good idea about every thing. its all depends from person to person. I heard few people took their step 1 in just 3 months and took one day brk and give step 2 ck, and many people took about 6 months as an average only for step 2 ck. You can judge your self better then any one else.GOOD LUCK for you exam.

What you said is correct.I'm an average student.I will judge myself with UW questions.

Just going to start 2CK and working full time,having a baby too.

I'll do my best.I'm planning to do UW after my 1st reading.Then I can decide what to do accoring to my svore.Hope do well.

hi shyamala,my exam was very titring tome becos i had health issues on that day,but i pray to jesus for my good score.regarding exam ,questions were not too lengthy, some were, but not too may.i got many rheumatology,ob gyn,peds, very few statistics, psy.surgery.dont worry that u will run out of time ,i had 7 min left off after evry block, get good sleep before take 2 tylenol pm night before,u need that. regarding my preparation i did kaplan, first aid ,q bak, cd,usmle secrets, listen to goljan tapes,pretests.by the time i knew about usmle world i had 2 weeks for the exam, so i did not do it. i will tell my score when i get it , so can base on it. i also have 7 months baby,not working, i know how difficult it is with baby, but u can do it. ok then i will be back with my score.good luck.

Hi Preethikallu Thanks for your advice.It's motivating. It is very difficult to study while working and having baby.But we can do it. But in my country,it is difficult to buy Kaplan notes.I'm going to start with Blueprints and FA. And I can take 2 months paid leave.But I don't know when to to take it,just 2 months before the exam or to take it for doing UW. May be decide later. Let me know your score once you get it. Have god time with your family. GL.
