A 70 yr old lady was admitted with acute myocardial infarction and congestive heart failure, then had an episode of ventricular tachycardia.She is prescribed multiple medications and soon she develops confusion and slurred speech. The most likely cause of this confusion is

1. captopril

2. lidocaine

3. nitroglycerine

4. digoxin

5. furosemide

the answer is d the lidocaine

i do not believe it is that. digoxin can give you confusion. diuretics can alter your electrolytes and can present with altered mental status. i think the answer is digoxin smiling face

i would go for 3.nitroglycerine.
