hello doctors
I've just heard from a friend that it seems to be some problems for those accepting a Preliminary position on J1 visa. He told me that next year, if you repply, it will be very difficult to find a residency because you will be not allowed to repeat PGY1. So you have to wait for someone's withdrawal.
Any oppinions on this subject?

yeah. u cannot repeat a yr. take a h1 for transitional if ur really desperate. those are easy to come by. st agnes offers h1 for transitional and prelim med if im not mistaken. check it out. rather than that - wait out a yr - steel up ur cv and be back for categ next yr
